ODCSSS 2006 overview

ODCSSS had 17 students in 2006 who selected from a list of 34 project proposals, as submitted by research investigators from both UCD and DCU. These projects were clustered in 4 themes of "Speech and Language Processing, Imaging and Visualisation, Pervasive Computing and Software Engineering".

TEDxDublin

On June 12th all the ODCSSS 2009 students attended the TEDxDublin event. TEDxDublin is a local, self-organized event that brought people together to share "ideas worth spreading". TEDxDublin had a program of 2 TED Talk videos and 3 live speakers. See the TEDxDublin website for full details and videos on this event. The ODCSSS 2009 research interns were able to attend along with some of their mentors and supervisors. Prior to TEDxDublin all the interns came together with some of the speakers and other guests to mingle and discuss their research. Following TEDxDublin all the students along with speakers adjourned to the Trinity Pavillion for a social evening. More details on the event can be [ read here ].
