Trip To Dcu Invent Centre
Presentation about researching in DCU, and how to get help starting up a company. A free meal was included afterwards in the Nursing Building.
Viking Splash Tour
A nice themed tour around Dublin City in an old World War 2 vehicle. It also went into the water for part of the tour
Mid-Term Presentations
All students presented their research so far at CASL in UCD, yielding useful comments from lots of people. Free snacks were included for students and guests.

Microsoft Visit
A tour of the Microsoft Ireland Building in South County Business Park, Leopardstown was given by Liam Cronin. The tour included a visit to the Microsoft Employee shop and a free goodie bag. Liam then gave a presentation about some of the work going on in Microsoft in Ireland. 2 ODCSSS students gave a short presentation to Liam and the rest of ODCSSS about the work they've done on their projects so far. The trip to Microsoft finished up with a large free International Cuisine Meal in the Staff Restaurant, which everyone enjoyed.
