Welcome to Francis Moloney from Ireland, an ODCSSS 2010 research intern

Francis is a 3rd year Computer Science/Mathematical Physics student in UCD. His main interests are football, computer games, movies etc, but he also likes going out with friends. For Francis, getting into computers was started by video games and programming followed naturally.

Welcome to James Reilly from Ireland, an ODCSSS 2010 research intern

James Reilly is a second year Digital media engineering student in Dublin City University. He is an avid GNU/Linux user and follower of the open source movement. He is a current system administrator of Redbrick, the DCU networking society. His interests include communications and embedded systems, such as home automation, programming and in his spare time he enjoys playing bass.

Welcome to Rıza Aktunc from Turkey, an ODCSSS 2010 research intern

Riza is from Turkey. He is a junior student at Computer Science department in Bilkent University.
However, he has been currently studying in Uppsala University (Sweden) as an exchange student for one semester.  He will be working on "SenseGrapher -  Visualisation, Simulation and Analysis of sensor data" project. He likes to travel, and watching series, movies in his free time.

Welcome to Gary Munnelly from Ireland, an ODCSSS 2010 research intern

Gary is a third year engineering student in Trinity College Dublin. He is studying for a Bachelor of Computer Engineering. His most recent project to date was to develop a control centre capable of operating a number of autonomous vehicles as they travelled around a track. He likes to discuss this project with every computer oriented person he meets, because it sounds more impressive than it really was.

Welcome to Ronan Egan from Ireland, an ODCSSS 2010 research intern

Ronan comes from a small enough town called Ferbane in Co. Offaly. He is a third year computer science and Mathematics student in N.U.I.Galway. He is in a general science course so he has studied physics for two years aswell. Most of his spare time after that is taken up training and playing gaelic football for his local club, Ferbane. He spent most of last Summer working in London and Coventry and he must say that he is quite happy to be staying in Ireland this year.

Emma is from Toledo and currently is studying second year of Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering in San Pablo CEU University, Madrid (Spain). She also spent her first year in college studying Computer Science in the University of Toledo (Ohio). She has been awarded three scholarships to Academic Excellence. In her free time, she loves learning, travelling and dancing.

Welcome to Alejandro Escario Méndez from Spain, an ODCSSS 2010 research intern

Alejandro is originally from Madrid. He is a third year student of Computer Science and Telecomunications Engineering from San Pablo CEU University, Madrid, Spain. He enjoys coding and creating hardware devices, in fact, he has some personal projects opened, some of them are open source. Also he is currently working on the New Technologies department of his university developing web applications.

Caroline is from Co. Wexford, Ireland, and is currently a student at University College Dublin. She has just completed second year Science, studying Computer Science and Maths, and hopes to graduate in 2012. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and music. Caroline will be working on the Universal Forensic File Viewer project.

Jane Finegan is from Meath, Ireland. She is a second year student in Dublin City University, where she is studying Information and Communications engineering and hopes to graduate in 2012. In her free time Jane enjoys reading, surfing the net and spending time with her friends.

Welcome to Adam Govan from Ireland, an ODCSSS 2010 research intern

Adam is from Dublin currently doing the B.A. in Computer science in UCD and hoping to graduate in 2011. He enjoys finding little gems of hilarity on the internet. Reading Blogs, looking up website sources, coding his own little applications and figuring out how things work. When Adam’s not in front of a computer, he enjoys gigging with his grunge band: “Hollowhite”, playing the odd video game or socialising wherever there’s a good party.
