Welcome to the Odysseus 2008 website. Here you will find up to date information on this year's interns, projects, interviews and events. Online Dublin Computer Science Summer School( ODCSSS or Odysseus) is a 12-week undergraduate summer research internship which is part funded by an Undergraduate Research Experience and Knowledge grant (UREKA) from the Science Foundation Ireland, University College Dublin (UCD), and Dublin City Univeristy(DCU). The Odysseus internship includes working on a project under a mentor/supervisor, and presenting it at the end of summer. It is not all work and no play though. There are various social events held across the span of the internship for students to bond. Learn more about the 2008 events This year there are sixteen Odysseus interns from across the world- France, India, Nigeria, Poland, Spain, and of course Ireland. The underlying theme of the 2008 programme is The Global Family; The Global Workplace: "Technologies for Social Connectedness". Learn More about the 2008 projects Odysseus was one of the main Achaean leaders in the Trojan War. He was known for his craftiness and resourcefulness. |
